During the COVID-19 crisis, many people turned to online shopping and delivery to help them get through the pandemic. Now that things have gone back to normal people still enjoy the luxury of being able to stay at home instead of competing with crowds to get groceries. The question remains if people will start to move back to traditional shopping, or will the digital giants continue to grow?
The numbers on online shopping are interesting to track. According to Shopify.com the US was projected to be the second country to see online sales accumulate past the $1 Trillion mark. Shopify.com also states that 57% of US shoppers buy products from online retailers at least once a week.
